Two tips about packing for the trail:
1) The weather in Israel varies along the year and according to the area , in the north you can expect nice and shiny weather during the autumn, spring and summer and cold and rainy weather during the winter maybe the firs part of the spring (if you plan to hike in these mounts, better bring a tent ).
The southern part of Israel (the desert) is about the same all year long, hot during the day and very cold during the night . In the winter be aware of floods in the streams and low places .
2) Pack light, no more then 25% percent of your body mass. The most common reason for quitting the trail is a too heavy bag.
