The WALK ABOUT LOVE 2009 is an international hiking festival,
which takes place in a journey along the Israel Trail starting on March 2009.
Hikers from all around the world will embark on a walking journey up to 1000 km long retracing the steps of the old ancestors along the cross-Israel Trail.
The journey starts on March, 9, 2009, the Jewish holiday of Purim, and it ends at June, 21, 2009.

The WALK ABOUT LOVE organization and the BACKPACKING ISRAEL team is calling on students, hikers, individuals and families, web communities, youth movements, green organizations and social change organizations.
Everyone is invited to take part in the hike whether you come for the entire hiking experience (“through hikers”), just a few days of hiking, or even just to experience the events and festivals along the way.
It is starting on March 3, 2009 !

On the 1st March 2009 thousands of hikers like you will join together to commence a three month journey along the 1000km Israel National Trail.
This journey will set ground for meeting people from a variety of countries and cultures in a massive display of love, unity and mutual dialog.
Through hiking, walking ,music, dancing and joined activities, shall bring to bounding, promotion for artists, a better understanding and love, volunteering in Israel, a respect for people and for the land.
