 The WALK ABOUT LOVE 2009 is an international hiking festival,
which takes place in a journey along the Israel Trail starting on March 2009.
Hikers from all around the world will embark on a walking journey up to 1000 km long retracing the steps of the old ancestors along the cross-Israel Trail.
The journey starts on March, 9, 2009, the Jewish holiday of Purim, and it ends at June, 21, 2009.
The hiking adventure will start by the Red Sea in the southern city of Eilat. You will continue on this journey over a course of several weeks through the stunning Judean wilderness, experiencing mystical mountains and caves, walking on footsteps of Jesus and arriving to the foot of Mount Hermon, the northeast point of Israel.
You will encounter along the way various festival events like parties, street performances and circus acts, promoting reconciliation, peace and mutual tolerance.
Hikers will immerse themselves in an atmosphere of friendship, mutual tolerance, and peace.
Hikers will experience the ecological way of living.
Hikers will experience the land of Israel, its history and its heritage.
